I'm back after a month in hospital, Yes a said a month a full 28 days , which feels like a lifetime. I feel like I've missed out on so much.
I missed mothers day and G couldn't see me because I had food poisoning - which was from a hospital cooked meal - and what made it even worse I was 80 miles away from home in Birmingham.
I was in Birmingham Queen Elizabeth for two long weeks and then I had a transfer up to north staffs university hospital. You would think as both hospitals are new (well new as in finished within the past two years ) that they would have the same standards. BUT boy what a difference 50 miles makes.
In the QE you would have a care chart with an hourly tick box - and they would come every hour to make sure you had a jug of water and a cup, to make sure you had a cuppa within the past hour (the tea and coffee was service was amazing), making sure that you weren't in any pain - just amazing care standards!
In North Staffs it was a different story - when I arrived I had to wait 5 hours for a jug of water and a cup, even then I had to ask. A cuppa tea was few and far between and as for asking if I was in pain once a day.
Now I know I'm a youngish woman with all my faculties in tact but can you imagine if I was old and had dementia. Well I know which hospital I would rather be in !
Not that I'm having a go at said hospital but in this day an age after the scandal over care at Stafford hospital there should be the same standard of care no matter where you are.

royal mail = waste of time
So today I've been let down twice by the lovely royal mail .
First off this morning on my Twitter feed i see that royal mail are almost doubling the price to send a small package. This annoys me because I wanted to start to sell Gs old clothes and toys - But now there's no chance of anyone doing this any more. So thanks a bunch!
Then and this has really annoyed me a while ago our post started going missing - the occasional letter - then a prize or two went missing but today royal mail you have really pissed me off.
1 first off "my" parcel arrived looking like it had been dragged though a hedge backwards - despite saying on the Huge label (see part 2 ) saying please handle with care.
2 the HUGE Label which was almost hanging off. Underneath was another address. (see 4 )
3 the content of the parcel was all wrong It should have been a selection of clothing sent by Sainburys for me to review on my blog.
4 inside the parcel was a winter coat and a return invoice - from some poor woman in London to a clothing company in Wigan.
Shame on you royal mail shame on you.
Supermum (me ? )
I'm a stay at home mum too my beautiful Boy G and he loves me loads - I'm his 'super mum' and that's all that matters to me.
I've had my fair share of bad luck ( 6 heart operations and 2 strokes ) But I also have some good luck I met H we had G and we were lucky enough to get married last year.
I cant work due to my ill health which has its good points and bad points. Good points - I get to spend every day with G, and the bad money is tight so we miss out on lots of things like days out but we get by and to be honest I quite enjoy been a stay at home mummy - it really is the best job in the world .
My mum on the other had is a super mum she has three children - me my brother and sister, and four grandchildren my brothers two and my sisters one.
She has brought us all up to be kind and good people - my brother is a police officer and my sister is a nurse- i wanted to be a physiotherapist or work in cadio rehab but my uni degree is on hold at the moment. I think what your children do says a lot about you so my mum should be in for the title of ‘Buyagift Super Mum’.
My mum has been at my side though all of my operations - helping me and caring for me - she truly is an amazing lady.

holiday holiday holiday
With Christmas, new year, valentines day well and truly out the way ( and H's course work ) its time to plan our summer holidays.
But with our house up for sale every things all up in the air at the moment , a holiday aboard is out of the question or at least we think it is . We were thinking about hiring a cottage (in my dreams ) or a more likely option is a caravan but then its where to go ?
We love Cornwall but by the time we have taken into account fuel costs and the caravan / holiday home we may as well go abroad.
So its looks like we are going to North Wales, we went to Wales last summer for a short break which was amazing its a holiday we won See post :)
Or if we wait and wait until the house sells we go nowhere :(

G seems to suit browns and oranges so we love the lion top.
hear is the link to browse the tu-clothing range.
Of course Tu clothing is not just for kids they also do a stunning ladies range working with GOKwan - who in my eyes is a legend and boy he can give me a make over any day .
I really need it lol Jeans and primark tops are not the best look :(
PrinterPix Photo Competition
PrinterPix Photo Competition
Hello fellow mummy bloggers, tots100 are holding a competition with the chance to win a brand new bridge camera, memory card & as if that wasnt enough.. £100 to spend on the Printerpix website!!Someone is going to be a very lucky blogger.
this would be my dream come true.
Since having G just over two years ago I've taken 3000 ish photos - yes 3 thousand on my iphone alone - 4000 more on my old phone ( a sony ericson satio ) and we have about 10 memory cards full of photos .
My photo entry is a classic G photo, it was taken when we had got the christmas decorations down from the loft- G grabbed the santa hat and so we ploncked it on his head and snapping away we just caught this cheeky smile -
It really is one of our Favourite photos of our little G as a baby . He was 9 months old when this photo was taken so this will put this photo in the babies under 2 part of the competition

The pain with Pain !
On Friday, after H cooked an amazing tea and we had had a play down stairs,H took G upstairs while I went to fetch G's milk just like I always do. I ran upstairs laughing and joking with G , got to the top and then BAM crushing chest pains struck. Chest pains like I've never had, couldn't breath and I could only just make it to our bed - 5 feet away.
This scared me and H and thank goodness G didn't see me, I never want G to see me in pain.
Then today as we got back to the car I nearly passed out. Now I'm getting a little worried and thinking i may have to call cardiologist to book in or do i leave it and see how I get on ?
H is always saying how stubborn I am I guess I've really asked for help.
My illness in the past has only ever got me out of breath or given me mild(ish ) chest pains. I guess I'm too scared to seek help.
